In line with the spirits of the United Nations’ global digital cooperation and sustainable development goals, the World Internet of Things Convention, an international organization recognized by United Nations ECOSCO, is working to develop global demonstration cities for the intelligently interconnected digital economy and is committed to playing a leading role in the transformation, upgrading and innovative development of global digital economy and helping build a better city and upgrade smart city—all of which aims to provide reference for countries around the world.

According to the principles of fairness, impartiality and openness, WIOTC now announces the selected list of the first batch of demonstration cities developing the intelligently interconnected digital economy and will finally determine the list of demonstration cities after soliciting public opinions.

The final list of demonstration cities will be issued at the World Internet of Things Convention 2025 & First Conference on the Sustainable Development of Intelligently Interconnected Digital Economy, which will take place from 27 to 29 November 2025 and certificates will be awarded to government representatives of winning demonstration cities.

This announcement of soliciting opinions starts from today to October 31, 2025
