2012年9月，中移物联网有限公司在重庆市成立，注册资金35亿元，是中国移动成立的首家专业化全资子公司，也是国内第一家由运营商成立的专业物联网运营企业。物联网公司立足重庆，布局全国，在北京、南京、广州、深圳、武汉、西安等地设有分支机构，员工超3200人。公司获国家科技进步二等奖、第二十二届中国移动科技进步一等奖等10余项重大奖励。

In September 2012, China Mobile IoT Co., Ltd. was established in Chongqing with a registered capital of 3.5 billion yuan. It is the first professional wholly-owned subsidiary of China Mobile and also the first professional IoT operation enterprise founded by an operator in China. Based in Chongqing and expanding its layout nationwide, the company has established branches in Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Xi'an and other places, with more than 3,200 employees. It has won more than 10 major awards, including the Second-Class National Science and Technology Progress Award and the First-Class Science and Technology Progress Award of China Mobile at the 22nd Session.
