Dear government agencies, IoT and digital economy enterprises,

Since its inception in 2017, the World Internet of Things Ranking List, known as WIOTRL, has become an authoritative IoT digital economy ranking event with global influence. The enterprises on the WIOTRL Top 500 account for 50 percent of global digital economy, playing a leading role in driving the innovative development of global digital economy. Have been released for 9 years, WIOTRL has attracted attention from tens of thousands of enterprises from all over the world, and the news about the ranking has been covered and reposted by thousands of media worldwide and the international community as well.

In order to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations, promote the upgrading and innovative development of global digital economy, commend those companies capable of developing IoT digital economy, shape a batch of models of digital economy, deliver benefits to the people in the world in the field of smart life, work and production and support the building of a community of shared future for mankind, World Internet of Things Convention (WIOTC) and its WIOTRL Working Committee decide to initiate the work of the 2026 World Internet of Things Ranking List as of today and start the application and recommendation of the WIOTRL participating companies until April 30, 2026.

The target units for applying for the ranking list include but not limited to the following sectors: industry, agriculture, logistics, energy, AI, transportation, intelligently connected vehicles, aerospace, low-attitude intelligent industry, communication network (5G, 6G, quantum communication, starlink communication, cloud computing, big data, perception and integration technology), smart life, smart healthcare, safety and security, model services of various types, etc. The ranking list will be issued at the World IoT 500 Top Summit held in late June 2026 and WIOTRL’s top 500 enterprises will be awarded certificates (for companies applying for certificates only). Shortlist companies will get the opportunities of global publicity and promotion to improve their brand and international influence and get the support of market expansion and project investment and cooperation of products, technology and solutions.

Welcome you to become ecological partners of World IoT Top 500 Summit, exhibit your outcomes and capabilities in the internet of things and digital economy, apply for becoming members of WIOTC industrial commissions. At the same time, you can apply for the World IoT Awards (WIOTA), Demonstration enterprises and excellent cases of the intelligently interconnected digital economy.

We welcome government agencies, international organizations, societies to recommend potential enterprises, and digital economy and tech companies from all over the world are welcomed to actively apply for the ranking list, compete for the ranking, and appear on the 2026 World Internet of Things Ranking List.
